What do I do to start therapy?
We must have a doctor’s prescription for therapy. We will be happy to speak with your doctor or you prior to asking for a referral to further explain our process.
Call our clinic for an appointment. We can answer any questions you may have and will discuss our financial policy with you at that time.
From insurance or payer information, which you provide us, we will verify coverage for you so that you will know what will be covered prior to starting services.
How is therapy scheduled?
After a comprehensive evaluation by a licensed therapist, the therapist will inform the parent/responsible party, explain evaluative findings, discuss anticipated outcomes of therapy, and set goals. The therapist will project a time frame for goal completion. Longview Therapy Center provides the physician with a written Plan of Care. Upon appropriate approval by the physician and patient or responsible party, therapy begins.
Therapy services are offered in a variety of scheduling options or session formats-several times a week, intensives, and/or home programs-depending on clinical findings, client needs, and physician approval.
