" I am so thankful that there is a program Progressive Step in Dumas Texas that my grandson Osvaldo Carrillo can attend. He's been attending classes since they opened. He attends Occupational, Physical and Speech therapies. He has improved in his speech and now says more words also is saying sentences. I can understand him now, before I didn't know exactly what he was saying. He also is learning how to dress by himself, how to put puzzles together, jump, swing, work with others and many other things. without this program, he would still be having problems. He has improved so much since he started there, I was so happy when Chris contact me letting me know they were opening a rehabilitation therapy for Speech, Occupational and Physical for which my son needs. Osvaldo had very little words before he started and now has a lot of words and can put words together and we can understand Osvaldo on what he is saying to us. Osvaldo has had less melt downs and can now dress himself and a lot more. I am very thankful for pro Step in Dumas Tx and therapists there. The therapists and staff are very caring and friendly there, I don't only see them as my son's therapists but a part of our family."

" Pro Step Dumas has been a God-send for both our son and our family. Kash was diagnosed shortly after age 2 with a sensory processing disorder and a rare genetic disorder. This has left him currently non-verbal, extremely hyper-active and unable to experience a lot of things that most toddlers participate in; such as playing in sand, eating certain foods or doing daily activities. Kash began seeing Chris for Speech Therapy and Laurie for Occupational Therapy shortly after Pro Step opened. Kash has made great strides with his speech and continues to communicate more each day. His social skills are continuing to improve and his focus is getting better each week. Thanks to Laurie and Chris, Kash can now play in sand, is open to trying new foods and do so many other daily tasks that were once very difficult for him. He truly loves everyone who is part of Pro Step and I feel like Kash couldn't be at a better place. Each time they pick him up, kiss his little cheeks and love on him my heart wants to melt! We prayed God would send us people to help Kash and our prayers have been answered!
